Dustin has just under 20 years of professional music experience and has mixed, mastered or produced thousands of songs in that time. He's done it all, from the grimy front-of-house for small venues, to performing at top festivals, to mastering top-selling records, allowing him to understand musicians and audiences in a comprehensive way - a must for any engineer. For years he was a touring DJ and chief A&R at several top dance labels, and has a deep understanding of what it takes to make a wonderful sounding record, especially when it comes to vinyl manufacturing, distribution and sales. Since moving to NYC, he let go of performing to focus on family and the growing DMA audio business. Since then, he has created two purpose-built studios, the latter of which he now operates in, created specifically for mastering.

Personable and professional, Dustin will handle each client equally, give honest timelines, and listen to every need and request. Genuine feedback is a core tenet the strategy at DMA Audio. Too often great, objective feedback is difficult to find. Working with artists to get the best out of their mix is more important than polishing whatever is submitted. If the mix is not ready, he will let you know, and work with you in a detailed way to get it exactly where you want it to be.
